How To | Setup Aviagen Email on Samsung Email for Android

Where do I find the App?

You can find the app on the android app store. You can also click on the button below to be taken directly to the app download page.

 

 

How do I add my account?

  1. Once the Samsung Email app is installed and open, you will see the following screen
    • Select the "Exchange" button to continue
  2. You should now see a "Set up account" screen. Type in your own email where you see "myemail" and password. Then press "Sign in" at the bottom of the screen when you are happy with it.
  3. A new screen should appear with the words "Exchange server settings" at the top as seen, in the image. You may also get an error, ignore this.
  4. The details that are currently input are incorrect, we will need to change that.
  5. Fill in this screen with the following details entering your own username/email where you see "myemail". MAKE SURE THESE MATCH EXACTLY
  6. Now press "Sign In"
  7. You may see the follwoing box, press "Apply".
  8. You should now be logged in however, you will not yet see your emails yet.
  9. This sign in will have sent a request to the UK IT Helpdesk. You will now need to send an email to make sure that it is the real you that is sending this request.
  10. Once you have been contacted and the request approved, reload your email inbox and you should begin to receive your emails.
