Step 1: Open Outlook
If this is your first time using Outlook
Open the Outlook app and select Add Account.
If you already have another account in Outlook
- Open Outlook.
- Open the side menu using your profile icon or the menu button in the top-left corner.
- Tap the new account button on the left-hand side.
- Select Add an account.
Step 2: Enter your Aviagen email address
On the Add Account screen, enter your full Aviagen email address.
Tap Add Account or Continue, depending on the version of Outlook shown on your device.
Step 3: Enter the Exchange settings
You should now see an Exchange screen.
The details that are automatically entered may be incorrect. Turn on Use Advanced Settings and enter the details exactly as shown below.

Example: If your email address is [email protected], your username would be:
yournameImportant
Make sure the server, domain, and username match exactly. The automatically entered values may not be correct.
Step 4: Sign in
Tap Sign In.
You may now be signed in, but your emails may not appear straight away.
Step 5: Wait for approval
The sign-in can send a mobile device approval request to the UK IT Helpdesk. You may need to contact the Helpdesk to confirm the request was made by you.
Once the request has been approved, reload your inbox and your emails should begin to appear.
Troubleshooting
If setup does not work, check the following:
- Your email address has been entered correctly.
- Your password is correct.
- Use Advanced Settings is switched on.
- The server is entered as webmail.uk.aviagen.com.
- The domain is entered as newbridge.
- Your username only contains the part before the @ symbol.
