  1. When a new device is reccived a name must first be chosen, for example NB-VETS-345
    • These names breakdown into Location Newbridge-Used by the vets department-and the final 3 numbers from the serial number for the device
  2. Make a sticker and place the name on the side of the headset, far left panel and on the battery that will be used for this. It is also usefull to label this on the box and the carrying case for remote support situations.
  3. Once you have the device turned on you will have to run through the basic setup. Once complete, you will be greeted by the home page launcher.
  4. On this screen navigate to the "Scanner" application using the side touch panel shown in the basic setup guide.
  5. Scan the following barcode for the "AVIAGEN ZEBRA" WiFi.
  6. Once completed we will have to connect the device to the MOBI control application.
  7. Navigate the the agent download page here
  8. On this webpage, select the "Android Classic" button
  9. You should see the following menu
  10. Fill out this menu like the image bellow, adjusting for any differing device version
  11. Now make sure you scan the AGENT QR code and not the Plugin, this is important.
  12. Open the "Scanner" application on the headset and point it at the AGENT QR code, this will prompt you to download and install an APK file, allow this.
  13. YOU WILL NEED TO ENSURE THE APP HAS "ADMIN APP PRIVELAGES" ENABLED IN THE PERMISSION SETTINGS OF THE DEVICE
  14. Once installed you will need to add an "Enrolment ID", this is found below
    • YSWNBU37
  15. The app will open a webpage, scroll down and select the appropriate enrolment button.
  16. The app may prompt you during this process to allow any permissions and/or to be given admin app privileges, it is Important that you ALLOW all of these permissions.
  17. Once setup correctly you should see the following screen
    • If there are enrolment errors you may be having issues with the device being half added. It may appear int he dashboard but not fully register, if this is the case remove the device from the SOTI panel and retry enrolment.
  18. To ensure the app has all correct permissions go into the settings, then applications, then select the MOBI app. Ensure that every single permission is enabled
  19. A common issue is with GPS locating the device, MOBI has issues with this if the following settings are not enabled
    • Under location settings, scroll to the bottom and select "Scanning"
    • Enable these two permissions
    • This will solve some issues with SOTI and GPS locating the device
  20. In order for apps to load through SOTI you will need to add it to a group
  21. Currently there is a UK and USA group, these apply differing configs, every group within one of these groups will have the same preset applied. Some of these smaller groups may have additional extra configs applied as well.
  22. Ensure the device is in a relevant group, if none exist create one, virtual groups are used for departments such as Vets etc.
  23. A final step will be to check for software updates in the OTA updates section int he settings
  24. You have now finished the basic setup.
