How To | Basics of using Zoom on VUZIX

The zoom app may be on your device in an un-activated state as a subscription to this app on VUZIX devices costs $100 a year. If you need to purchase this then contact the helpdesk at HERE.

VUZIX devices do not have zoom accounts , they must join a call through a meeting ID only.

  1. When you first open the app you will be greeted with a fairly basic screen. This will allow you to navigate to the settings or join a meeting. You can tell which tile is selected as it will show in all blue and be slightly enlarged.
  2. You will only need the "Join Meeting" button, if we press this button the following screen appears. 
  3. You will only ever need the "Enter Meeting Number" button
  4. Selecting this button shows the following screen
  5. You will need to use the touch panel and/or buttons to input the ID
  6. Once you have joined a meeting you will be able to bring up the following menu by tapping the touch panel
  7. You may need to enable the video, turn on the touch or mute your mic, all this can be done from the use of the touch panel.
  8. These are the basic controls needed to navigate the zoom application.
