Guide | How to Join Teams Meetings on Company Machines

With Aviagen using Zoom, teams meetings are sometimes difficult to get working. Thsi guide will take you through a few simple steps to increase your stability when using Teams

  1. When you receive a teams meeting invite via email it will look something like this
  2. Now normally you may try and click ont he "Click here to join the meeting" text. DO NOT DO THIS
  3. Instaid hover your mouse over the "Click here to join the meeting" text and right click.
  4. Select "Copy Hyperlink", it is essential you select the hyperlink option
  5. Now that you have copied the link, navigate to the program named "Edge"
  6. First click on the windows button, found at the bottom of the screen, either on the left or the middle.
  7. When clicked, you should see the following appear
  8. Navigate to the top of the screen where you see the search bar, click on here and type in "Edge"
  9. The following should appear, click on "open"
  10. When this opens navigate to the top search bar
  11. Now right click and select "past"
  12. When the following appears, select "Continue in this browser"
  13. You will now see the meeting setup screen
  14. If you see this select allow
  15. When you see this screen you have no successfully joined the meeting, follow the on screen instructions to setup your camera and mic
