Guide | SpecOps, Reset your Password When Locked Out or Unable to Login from Your Lock Screen

  • You may not always be able to login to your machine, either because you have forgotten your password or because you have locked your account
  • For these situations, you will see a “Reset Password” option on your laptops lock screen, this is located in the bottom left of the login/lock screen

  • When clicken on, you will see a login screen, enter your username

  • After this, you will need to provide enough methods of identification to fulfil the authentication stars requirement
  • Once successful, you will see the password reset screen
  • If you are connected to an Aviagen network at an Aviagen site, you will now have completed your password reset process and can now login with this new password.
  • If you are working remotely when you need to reset your password, you may still be unable to login, in this case, either contact IT or try logging in when on an Aviagen site/network
  • You can contact [email protected] for further support when working remotely
