Guide | 1. Silverfort VPN Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Desktop Enrollment

In order to connect to the company VPN, you will be required to enroll in VPN MFA. Please complete the following steps on your Aviagen computer to complete enrolment. 

 

  1. Firstly, open the pre installed Silverfort Desktop application on your machine by clicking on the lower right desktop icon, you may need to first click on an arrow to see this icon.
    • First select the arrow
    • Then click on the Silverfort Icon
  2. Next, select "Add User"
  3. You will be prompted to input your company email address, do this.
  4. Now navigate to your email client (Outlook Application), you should soon see an email from "AviagenMFA", this will look similar to the following image
  5. Now, return to the silverfort icon/application, you will be prompted to enter the code you received in your email, do this
  6. Once entered, click on "Verify Account". You should now see a green "We are ready" screen. If so, congratulations, you have successfully verified your email address.
  7.  Please wait until you receive an email with further instructions from: [email protected]
