1. If you go over to the bottom right of your screen and then click on the arrow pointing up
2. Hover over the Heimdal icon and right click it.

3. You should be presented with this menu. If you hover over privileges and control and then click on request admin privileges.

4. You should now have this window or similar, please state/choose your reason and then press elevate.

After this, a request will be sent to the It department, you will receive notification once this has been approved or denied. If approved, you will be able to press on any installer and when prompted for the admin username and password you can type in your credentials there.

NOTE: Your username is your email address without the @aviagen.com part i.e. if your email address was [email protected] your username would be “testing” meanwhile your password is the same one you use to login to the computer.
